St. Paul's Nature Class is unique because it is an early childhood class held outdoors in all types of weather. The curriculum is child-led and play-based, focusing on fostering curiosity and exploration in our natural environment. Our learning focus centers on developing holistic growth through a pedagogical framework rooted in the outdoors. Through nature play children are encouraged to explore their emotions and imagination as they develop autonomy and decision-making skills. Their play fosters confidence, resiliency, and empathy. These skills are foundational for success now and life-long.
This class is offered for students who are 4 years old by December 31st. If you feel your child would thrive in this environment, you are welcome to visit the class any afternoon between 12:15pm and 2:45pm. We would be happy to answer any questions you have.
