Our program is accredited through the National Association of Episcopal Schools and is licensed by the state of California's Department of Social Services. Our staff is composed of professional people trained in early childhood education who are also first aid and C.P.R. certified.
Our goals for your child would include:
We are a half-day preschool. Our morning session begins at 9:00 a.m. and is over at 11:30 a.m. We also offer an afternoon session which begins at 12:00 noon and concludes at 2:30 p.m. Children need to be potty trained by the time they attend school in September. Three year olds (must be 3 by December 4th) are eligible to attend school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Four year olds (must be 4 by December 4th) attend on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. We also have a Pre-K program for 5-year olds as well as a Parent and Me class for 2-year olds. We also offer two extended day programs for both the morning and afternoon sessions.
There are ten children in each classroom with an assistant working one hour each session as well. Our Pre-K class has up to 16 children and a part- or full-time aide depending on the number of children in the class. While outside, we maintain a ratio of 20 children to 3 adults. Children are provided with a snack each day. Chapel services are held one day a week. In addition, each class will attend music as a large group once a week. We also provide a motor lab experience for our 3 and 5 day children.
