This week we will discuss the story of the Good Samaritan.

Today’s parable is about the Good Samaritan. The story centeres on a traveler who is confronted by some robbers and left hurt and alone in the middle of the road.A priest comes along and decides that since he doesn’t know the hurt man he does not need to help him.A Levite walks by next but is afraid to help because he thinks the robbers might still be nearby.Lastly the Good Samaritan walks along and upon discovering the injured man helps him up an doffers him water, money and gets him to some shelter.We will discuss ways that children can assist those who need help (by telling a parent, calling 911 etc.)
